All people deserve a place of safety and opportunity for their families.

The mission of Cruzando Fronteras is to support a community of families and individuals fleeing violence by providing a safe space to heal, recover, and thrive.

In partnership with Casa de la Misericordia y de Todas las Naciones, Cruzando Fronteras supports their work to provide refuge for our vulnerable, migrating neighbors with meals, lodging, educational services, job skills training, and legal assistance.

Residents empowered to reclaim power over their own lives

Residents are largely self-sufficient, and responsible for keeping the shelter running. Everything from running the community garden to operating the tortilleria, which generates revenue by making tortilla’s to sell to the community, the residents have it covered.
