Supporting Our Neighbors

Travelers seeking a better life have come to La Casa from more than 20 different countries, speaking more than 20 different languages—including indigenous languages. Over 2,700 people have been offered physical, emotional, and spiritual support at La Casa since it opened 2020.

Supporting Women and Children

70% of the people at the shelter are girls, boys, adolescents and women who are experiencing a high level of vulnerability.  

Over 1,200 girls, boys and adolescents have received education while residing at La Casa. The school is staffed by professional teachers.
